Hey, all I wanted to go through some of the things that get asked every league and some things that are changing.  There are 3 categories of FAQ. and I hope I made them easy to understand!

 

General Questions

 

Where are you located/ what areas do you serve? 

We are out of Hurricane WV and service is typically within a 1.5-hour driving distance. For Leagues of over 50 committed shoots, we can push that to 2.5 hours

 

What services do we offer?  

We focus on sports photos. That is what we feel we are the best skilled in, posed or action shots. Family Portraits are second, however, we will try anything at least once.

 

What sports do you all do? 

We can handle any sport! 

 

What ages do you photograph?

 We work with Athletes of all ages!!  

 

I see you make custom gifts. What photos can you use?  

I can use any that we have taken, action or posed.  A cell phone photo that is clear and high-res. Or another photographer's photo with written permission.  

Photo Shoot Questions

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

  We take cash, and all credit cards are processed by Square, apple pay, Samsung pay, Venmo, and Cash App.  Sorry, absolutely no personal checks.

 

Can I Change what's in the sitting fee?

I’m sorry we are discontinuing that! We set our sitting fee up so that it covers the cost and time of the shoot and gives the most to the parents and League. We Used to let there be some variations like banners and prints that cost the same. However, this got abused by a few customers causing hurt feelings and general unhappiness for both sides.

 

Can my kids get photos together?

Yes!! We encourage it!! Family is the bedrock of any community! Also, Moms and Dads step in. Some of our Favorite photos are when the whole family is on board. There is no extra charge to have them taken. If you buy the digital gallery package at the shoot its included in your downloads!

 

Do I have to pay to be in the team photo?  

No, we would love to have 100% precipitation for team photos cause those are your teammates and they will want to see you when they look back at it. If you do not want individual photos at this time we can do one pose for the team photo. Go to the booking link for your league and choose team photo only.  

 

I’m a coach. Do I pay for myself to be in the team photo?

No way!  You spend hours every season growing these athletes. When your child(ern) has their time just sign in and get your coach’s picture done! You will also get your own copy of the poster!

 

I didn’t pre-pay for the gallery when I selected my time slot. What are my options?

 No worries! Whether you changed your mind or didn’t see the check box it's okay you can prepay the day of the shoot!!  After the shoot, all digitals are 12.00 each!

Do you offer a sibling discount? 

Because we offer so much with our sitting fee we are unable to offer multiple-child discounts. 

 

How long till I get my photos?  

We normally are able to get back teams within 1-3 weeks.  As we get them done we email the digital galleries out. So the 1st ones done sometimes are as early as Tuesday or Wednesday after the shoot. Please Check Facebook on Mondays for a status report of where Jess is at with the editing.  We will also post with your league logo when all of them are finished. So if you see that and haven’t received them, check your spam folder. They can end up there.  If not email us at leeksports@gmail.com (this is also the address it comes from)  or message us on Facebook and we will resend it to you. 

I didn’t get a slot booked, Help!! 

If you try to book 12 hours or less before the shoot the software blocks it out. This is so I can download and print a roster for the day.  Come on anyway during your league shoot time. Our 5-minute blocks allow us to flow and we can squeeze folks in. You will just fill out a form at the site that has all in information on it to get them processed and pay the sitting fee at the site.

After you receive your gallery

 

How do I make purchases? 

Click the photo in the gallery and click the cart! We will mail the photos to the home. For large ticket items, I will arrange to meet you in the portrait area to do a porch drop-off or a meet and greet.  

 

I prepaid but I can’t find where to download my photos.  

 

On the Desktop computer, there is an arrow pointing down in the top right corner. If you click that it sends you an email with the zip file. If you want to download it picture by picture click the photo and click the arrow down.  On a mobile device, the arrow is under the menu with three slashes. If you look there and there is no download please reach out. The prepaid box may not have been checked.

 

My photos have a Misspelled name, what do I do?  

I try my hardest to make sure I get all of them right but I am human, simply reply to your gallery email and tell me what the spelling is.  I normally will respond and give you a turnaround time. Throughout the day normally it can be done within half an hour. Evenings or weekends, it depends on where we are with shoots and out being parents. 

If you didn’t put a last name for your Athlete in the information form, it will be assumed that the last name is the same as the registering adult. 

My kid made a weird face in the photos, why didn’t you catch that?

We spend between 2 and 5 minutes with each child and do 4 poses. When we are looking at the computer we are checking for shadows, eyes are open, and hopefully looking at the camera. We offer to have you in the room with us for the shoot so you can watch to catch faces, hair ect. We don't know your child from Adam, that “weird face” might just be how they act in front of a camera. Trust us we have a diva of a daughter and she always makes weird faces at the camera. Also, your child might avoid looking into the camera due to anxiety or other disabilities. If your child is feeling anxious about the photos, you can let us know and we will let them sit and watch as we process other kids, when they are ready to join us we will allow you to hop in.  

I’ve bought my digital. What does that entail?

When you buy the digital from us we give you print and maker rights to the photo. You are welcome to take it anywhere to have it printed or if friends, relatives, or local businesses want to make an item for your personal use you can also use our photo. We ask that in the case of the maker, please tag us on social media if you share an image of it.
